In this months issue we cover the final autumn ferias along with details of some attractive special offers and a lovely new property to rent in the Axarquia.

Well as we Veleños (inhabitants of Velez-Malaga) recover from the week long party with drinking, music, dancing, horse shows etc. that is the Real Feria de San Miguel or town fair, we should be contemplating cooler autumn weather and changing over our wardrobes to include one or two sleeved items. However the hottest summer for ages in these parts has now turned into the longest summer for ages in these parts and I still find myself sitting here in shorts and a vest!

The final autumn feria to take place in the Axarquia is the Nerja Feria which starts this weekend and finishes on 12th October which is a national public holiday in Spain.
